Clendon Park Community House

Description

This community house offers individuals, community groups and other organisations the use of meeting spaces. This house is one of three that are managed by Te Whare Awhina o Tamworth (Inc).

Activities and programmes

Programmes offered are based on community need and demand and are run in conjunction with Te Whare Awhina Community Services Centre. These may vary from school term to school term. Programmes include:

• church and youth groups
• cooking classes
• computing
• drivers licensing
• drug and alcohol course
• HIPPY and playgroup
• office services - photocopying, faxing, laminating
• Tai Chi.

Rooms available for hire

Monday to Sunday, 9am-9pm:

• Main room - accommodates 20-25 people
• Small room - accommodates up to 12 people
• Office space is available for tenant hire, with costs to be negotiated with the House Manager.

Main room
Community group, not-for-profit - $10 per session.
Government funded, commercial - $20 per session.

Small room
Community group, not-for-profit - $10 per session.
Government funded, commercial - $20 per session.

Please note: Room prices do not include GST. Sessions are three hours.
