Description
Te Oro is a multi-purpose venue where young people and the local community can come together to perform, practise and learn the arts; express their creativity and talents; and celebrate their cultures. We provide a friendly and creative environment that allows aspiring artists to focus on their artistic development and create an environment suitable for the development of new work.
Te Oro's venue offers eight rooms of various capacity; this includes a flexible 120-150 seat performance space suitable for theatre and dance performance, conference, film screenings and music and art workshops. A dance studio, three art studios, a meeting room, design, video & music creation computer suite
Te Oro also boasts a professional recording studio, open recording studios. The recording studio is open to community groups, choirs, school groups, bands and individual musicians.
