Description

Te Manawa is Auckland’s first fully integrated community hub. Opened in 2019, this state of the art facility is a Green Star rated building and incorporates community venues, library services, work spaces, free Wi-Fi (1GB a day), commercial kitchen, business hub, Citizens Advice Bureau and a range of Auckland Council customer services. In addition Te Manawa has two small studios available for hire, with a range of equipment to support audio and video production.


Parking

There is a customer car park located behind the facility (entrance on Kohuhu Lane) with 50 spaces, including accessible parking. There is also drop off and more accessible parking located near the building entrance on Kohuhu Lane. Street parking around Te Manawa is generally limited to P120 or P180 including car parks at the NorthWest shopping centre nearby. All-day parking is available at the Wilson's car park on Maki Street..

  • The AV Suite combines Studio 1 & 2 (ie a control room and live room for recording) and equipment. The suite is ideal for audio recording and editing, graphic and video editing. Use of the AV Suite requires Auckland Libraries membership.

    Bookable between: 9am and 5:30pm, seven days a week.
    Capacity: 6 (3 in each studio)
    Equipment: 1x table and 3 x chairs in each studio plus a selection of recording and editing equipment. Details in our Info Pack below.
